The Smart Research C2 is a dual-mono/stereo buss compressor in 1U 19" rackmount format, modeled after the sound and function of the venerable Solid State Logic console buss compressor. The C2 expands on the SSL's features with a "Crush" function, switchable stereo or dual-mono sidechain (left becomes the master in Stereo mode), ultra-fast attack and hard limit settings.

As an accessory, Smart Research sells a cable which mults the audio source to the audio input and the sidechain input that has a high-pass filter built in.
