Schecter Damien-7 Multiscale Guitar in Satin Black
The Damien-7 Multiscale is a seven-string instrument engineered for intonation stability and ergonomic comfort across extended range tuning variations. Its multiscale geometry and carefully voiced electronics make it equally capable in progressive metal, djent, and contemporary genres demanding precision articulation. This Indonesian-made guitar delivers genuine playability without premium pricing.
Tone and Electronics
Paired Schecter Diamond Heretic pickups provide the output and harmonic definition required for extended-range playing, while a push-pull tone control adds tonal shaping without control layout clutter. The Hipshot 7-String Multiscale Fixed Bridge ensures precise intonation across the full spectrum and couples effectively with the bolt-on mahogany body for focused midrange presence.
Playability and Construction
The maple neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods resists wear and maintains stability, while 24 X-Jumbo frets accommodate aggressive playing and quick position shifts. A multiscale design spanning 25.5" to 27" allows lower strings to maintain tension and clarity without compromising upper register responsiveness—critical for seven-string tuning variations. The thin 'C' neck profile (0.787"–0.866" thickness) delivers balanced comfort across all seven strings.
