For players who need a dynamic instrument that can deliver pristine clarity, cutting-edge versatility, and striking visual character, the PRS Swamp Ash Special is ready to become your go-to guitar — now available at Haggerty’s Music. Featuring a solid swamp ash body with a beautifully contoured violin carve, this bolt-on model combines the twang and snap of traditional tonewoods with PRS’s signature playability and polish. The trio of pickups — two 58/15 LT humbuckers and a PRS Narrowfield in the middle — unlock a broad range of tonal colors from chimey single-coil textures to thick humbucking tones, all without sacrificing output balance.
This configuration, coupled with a 5-way blade switch and dual mini-toggle coil-tap controls, offers twelve total pickup combinations, perfect for genre-hopping musicians and studio players. The maple neck with a satin nitro finish, rosewood fingerboard, and 25” scale length provides smooth playability across all 22 frets. The PRS Gen III patented tremolo system and Phase III locking tuners ensure tuning stability and expressive pitch control, while the Black Doghair Smokeburst finish adds a timeless look to an incredibly forward-thinking instrument. A premium PRS gig bag is included.
