Its contoured okoume body with a fluted back, bevelled shape, and rounded edges, combined with the headless construction, ensures balanced handling and excellent playing comfort, making it ideal for long sessions. The bolt-on 5-piece neck made of maple and jatoba provides a stable foundation and features a jatoba fingerboard with 24 medium frets and a generous 19.7" radius. Sonically, the EHB600 relies on 2 active α1 pickups paired with the Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ, allowing precise control over bass, mids, and treble. An additional EQ bypass switch with passive tone control further expands flexibility. The feature set is completed by the MR5HS mono-rail bridge with 19 mm string spacing, black hardware, and the Ibanez custom headpieces typical of the EHB series, making this a modern all-round bass for players seeking ergonomic design paired with contemporary electronics.
