About this listing
The Gold Tone 4-String Cripple Creek Plectrum Resonator Banjo sits sonically in the middle of tenor banjos and five-string banjos. It's a great choice for genres such as jazz, pop and Celtic styles. How do the tonewood and body shape affect the sound? With the Gold Tone 4-String Cripple Creek Plectrum Resonator Banjo, you can expect a clear projected sound, thanks to it's rounded 13" maple resonator. The purpose of the resonator is to reflect and project the sound outwards, ensuring clarity whether playing alone or with an ensemble. Maple is the main tonewood used for this banjo, which creates a responsive, strong, bright and crisp sound, perfect for high energy playing. It allows for a broad dynamic range, from soft finger picking, to energetic and aggressive strumming.
