The Prince of the Flat-tops! As the younger sibling to the J-200, the J-185 has a lot to prove but always rises to the challenge. It's more concise lower bout at 16" makes it more comfortable under the arm to play with (especially sat down!) but still allows plenty of room and air movement inside the body, ensuring all of that projection and volume that we would come to expect from any acoustic with 'J' in its title. Armed with its staple solid Spruce top and beautifully figured Maple back and sides, the choice hard wood's counterbalance it's size and power with focus and note articulation that result in an even tonality that can be heard from the back of the room. Finished in Natural and with lovely MOP detail of the Maltese Cross in the Roswood bridge and split parallelograms in the matching fretboard. Its been played with some minor signs of wear and patina across the body but is otherwise in fantastic playing condition.
