Butler Music is pleased to offer this Gibson F-25 Folksinger acoustic guitar, purchased directly from its original owner, who told us they acquired it in 1967 from Jenkins Music in Kansas City, Missouri. It’s a wonderful connection to this guitar’s past and a particularly appealing find for anyone who appreciates vintage Gibson acoustics.
With its honey-colored natural top and unmistakable dual white pickguards, the F-25 has a personality all its own. Its compact body, wide fingerboard, and 12-fret neck joint make it especially appealing to fingerstyle players, folk musicians, and anyone who enjoys a little more room between the strings.
The F-25 combines a spruce top with mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge—a classic combination in a less commonly encountered Gibson design.

Condition
This Gibson is in very good overall vintage condition and presents beautifully for an instrument of its age. It does show honest cosmetic wear, including scattered scratches, small dings, finish wear, and chips along the headstock edges. There are visible handling marks on the back and sides, along with age-related patina on the hardware. Please examine all photographs closely for its cosmetic condition.
The included gig bag is a modern aftermarket bag and is not original to the guitar.
