Overview
Gibson replaced the Jumbo model flat-top in 1936 with the Advanced Jumbo to better compete with the Martin dreadnoughts of the day. This round shoulder model featured rosewood back and sides, ornate diamond arrowhead fretboard inlays, and binding on the top, back, and fretboard.
