Used Gibson 496R model Nickel covered humbucker, 8.92K ohm, made in USA.This pickup came installed in a guitar I bought (not a Gibson) so I am not sure of it's age, but it has a single conductor braided lead wire, so I am guessing this is from the 1990's to 2000's era.The DC resistance measures 8.92K ohm.Pole spacing measures around 49.2mm (which is standard or R Rhythm spacing for Gibson).The single conductor braided lead wire is about 1", so it will need to be extended before it can be used. Note: If you'd like me to extend the lead for you, let me know, and I can do that for you.I'm not sure if the nickel cover is original to this pickup or not, but it fits well. Right now, it is not soldered in place, and can be removed. Note: if you'd like me to solder in onto the baseplate, let me know, and I can do that for you.The nickel cover has some typical scratches, tarnish and corrosion in areas, and the pole pieces have some light corrosion, tarnish and/or rust in areas. It would look out of place in a brand new guitar, but look fine in an older guitar with some play wear.Comes with the springs and screws pictured.SHIPPING ------------ Every shipment is expertly packed with great care and includes tracking, signature required on delivery, and full insurance coverage for both the purchase price and shipping.Every pickup is fully wrapped in bubble wrap, in a new carboard box, with proper support inside.
