ESP M-Is (Originals, USA, or E-II) are very hard to come by, fewer have passive instead of actives, and even fewer come with a hardtail rather than a Floyd.These are really cool. This instrument was a limited edition for 2021. These are all hand painted by Ryan Dominguez (Shop Manager, Master painter, Product/Color Developer for ESP USA @spongebrick on IG). Really fun paint job. You really have to see it in person to believe it. I like how this has a passive PAF-style humbucker instead of the high output actives that ESP mostly leans towards. It's got the shape and silhouette of a metal machine but the paint job leans towards elegance & the tone is much more nuanced and articulate due to the lower output. Tried this guitar on every amp I could plug it into and it's impossible to make it sound bad. This guitar has everything you want and nothing you don't: recessed hardtail for enhanced comfort, stainless steel frets, smooth ebony board on a 3-ply quartersawn maple neck, reverse headstock with locking tuners, 1 hum 1 vol with coil split.No scuffs, no dents, no dings, no scratches on the guitar. Even the plastic lining on the electronics cavity cover and the truss rod cover are still attached. Some scratches on pickup cover from string contact and wear on left side.Specs on the COA, see photo. I am the first and only owner of this fine instrument.Color is a little bit difficult to show accurately on my camera & lighting. The best way to describe it is an emerald green outer edge into a lime green center. The paint job has a slight glitter/sparkle to it, rather than being just a flat color.International shipping is included in the price.
