About this listing
Beautiful archtop with superb acoustic properties, 1995 Peerless production in antique sunburst (AS). The burst appearance changes with light (see the first two pics)The select spruce top aged very nice, elegant binding with a solid 3-piece maple neck that equilibrates well the 17" body. It is a legitimate acoustic archtop and when played like that it feels that the sound is coming through the spruce top not the f holes. Many YouTube clips (E.g. JoeDeNisco, PureToneAmps, Gianlucadebari etc).A Kent Armstrong floating pickup (fixed with double sided glue tape) massively improved on the original pickup, newer pots as well. Normal fret wear, new wood pickguard after installing with the KA pickup.Being a 30-year old instrument that was played I tried to capture the wear in the photos. For instance: the two extra holes where the initial pickup was attached to the neck (they can be easily filled or covered when installing another floating pickup (e.g., an Attila Zoller) , the neck-fretboard imperfection near the nut (visible on other Regents of this age) , a small ding on the back of the headstock. I've owned several early Regents, all in excellent conditions, but this last one, despite its wear, sings the best, as it's the lightest and most resonant one. I'm selling it because I don't want to cut its top and make it a double P90 ES-350 clone. It includes a new padded soft case and it will be safely packed for shipping. A hard case is also available (see last photo), if needed.Continental EU only, shipping is indicative (can go as low as 35 euro), please write me for an accurate quote.Happy to answer your questions.
