Controls are classic volume, tone gain, and there are two more that set the amount of Hi or low frequencies that are distorted, (classical Ruetz mod, perfect for bass, baritone or lowed tuning guitars)
There's a switch that changes from Classical, Turbo, and no diode

(ALL) pedals need a proper power supply,all of my pedals works with classic 9v.
Cheap, unshielded power supply will gets you background noise or pedals to not work at full potential, it's not something that depends on me, and it applies to all pedal, especially analog one, so please use a proper power supply.
