For sale is my 1987 Gibson ES-347S, an increasingly hard-to-find late Norlin-era semi-hollow in well-preserved, fully original condition.
Fitted with its original Dirty Fingers humbuckers, TP-6 tailpiece, ebony fingerboard and factory coil-splitting electronics, the ES-347S combines the resonance of a Gibson semi-hollow with a broader tonal range than many contemporary models. The Dirty Fingers pickups deliver a powerful, articulate voice capable of everything from warm clean tones to aggressive overdriven sounds.
The guitar plays exactly as it should. The neck is straight, the frets have plenty of life left, and the electronics function as intended. There are no structural issues or repairs.
Cosmetically, the guitar presents very well for its age. It shows a few small lacquer blemishes, light surface scratches from normal use, and one minor finish ding, all of which are clearly documented in the photographs. Aside from these honest signs of use, it has been well cared for.
