The Uher M 133 was produced  early to mid-1960s in high consumer-grade production, aimed at home recording, speech, and portable tape systems—but built with a level of care that still stands out today.

Its distinctive quadratic body design gives it strong visual identity, while the sound leans clearly toward articulation.

Lean, articulate, and presence-forward. The M 133 is light on bass, with a noticeably thin low end, but compensates with clear midrange and pronounced upper-mid / high-frequency presence. This voicing favors intelligibility and cut over warmth.

It works especially well for speech, spoken word, radio-style vocals, and situations where clarity and definition are more important than low-frequency weight.
