Hunter Amplifiers - Stingray - 4-watt Tube Combo - 8" Speaker - Red Snakeskin

Another kickass one-off creation from the workshop/lab at Hunter Amplifiers! Presenting, the first-ever Keno Stingray combo!Bob (the builder) says it's Class A, single-ended, 5Y3-rectified, with a 6KZ8 Pentode/Triode, and a cathode-biased EL84 power section into an 8" Jensen C8R. When we translate that into English, it comes out as: Extra Spicy Vox.   :) It's a tiny little titan... some have even called it a little flamethrower because of the gain saturation that can be created at a relatively low volume. With an output of around 4 watts, you can imagine what this amp excels at! It's an instant ZZ Top, Skynyrd, Mountain, starter kit, but it excels at all sort of Blues, Rock, Country, Funk, R&B, and more! \Built into a solid Pine finger-jointed cabinet and wrapped in Red Snakeskin pattern Tolex with powder-coated steel corners.
