Up for sale a very good condition 1981
lefty Vantage Avenger (model
AV-325B), with the following appointments:
- 34' scale
- maple fretboard, black dot inlays
- straight as an arrow single ply maple neck
- 20 frets with minimal fret wear
- laminated Japanese ash body
- V/T noise-free controls with original pots and knobs
- S-600 pickup... Loud! Have the DiMarzio looks (adjustable hex screws) and pack quite a punch
- brass nut - for that endless open string sustain
Built at the venerable Matsumoku factory, at the time when they became famous for building awesome yet affordable instruments.
It has some dings and dents but nothing that would affect its great playability.
Since the pics were taken, I removed the sticker on the back of the headstock, polished the brass nuts and frets. It looks even better now.
