King Cleveland Superior Cornet with Case and Mouthpiece. USA. Good playing condition, but cosmetic dents/dings to the bell and body, and cosmetic wear/tarnish to the finish in general. The three valves work properly. The three slides/curves move easily. The case is old and adequate condition, but still protects the instrument. One clasp on outside of case is broken. Includes Vincent Bach 7C mouthpiece. (Cornet, not Trumpet. Reverb still does not have a Cornet category.) Free shipping to the continental U.S. (Ask for reduced shipping if you live in Mexico or Canada.)
The Cleveland model line by White Musical Instruments (King long before UMI) came about after White purchased Cleveland Musical Instruments about 1930 or so. The Cleveland was the the Cleveland Musical Instrument Company's top of the line model. The Cleveland line became White's student instrument line with the Superior being an advanced model just below the professional quality line of the Master model.
