STRYMON "La Brea Analog Tape Drive"
Sometimes, inspiration comes from within.
It’s not often that your own gear inspires something entirely different, but that is precisely what happened with our new analog tape-style unit, La Brea.
The all-analog La Brea distortion pedal employs multi-stage tape saturation techniques to create distorted tones ranging from subtle saturation to full-blown fuzz. It also features high-frequency filtering and a fully variable dry output that always remains in phase with the original signal.
Features
An all-analog tape saturation pedal, inspired by the saturation sounds of our classic Deco pedal.
Fully analog design: there is nothing digital in the signal path.
Use the gain switch to adjust the range of the tape saturation control.
Toggle the switch to engage either a specific high-frequency boost or a high-frequency boost with added midrange, providing greater richness and clarity.
A variable clean/dry signal path that remains in phase with the pedal’s saturated audio, adding clarity and body even at high saturation levels.
Operates internally at 24V to provide ample headroom, a wide gain range, and low-noise performance.
