1963 Neumann Brass K67 Capsule for U67 / SM69 (original / tested )

Ive been saving this fidelity platter for something special & I guess it’s you.…

All original , 1963 , brass kk67. one of the very best sounding k67 I’ve heard. I’m not trying to brag … but I’ve heard a f’kn lot of them. half the u67’s out in the world are *meh* at best. 1/10 is a treasure. This capsule is treasure, has and Been waiting patiently in my microphone parts treasure chest safely for years . it’s never been reskinned and I personally wouldn’t touch it , bc it sounds huge and Smokey and loving , but everyone’s tastes are different, although if u think this capsule sounds bad…something is wrong w it mic, ur system, or ur taste.

One side had the * slightest * moisture sensitivity when u breathed really gross right up on it , and it always clears up . Other side is fine. I will mark the side of the capsule id recommend for damp ASMR work ,

I can’t guarantee the capsule once it leaves my shop bc I can’t afford to trust ur moist hands and neurodivergent screwdrivin in this economy…. But I will install it for no charge ( for locals) in a mic of the buyers choosing, or even build u a mic from scratch if u want.

This prob won’t happen again for many years. Most the capsules floating are born to float , this one has always been a diamond and maybe ur mic is the one

(The meter reading above have a 10pF capacitive load for measurement accuracy and the capsule added in parallel, so subtract 10pF from to readings to give the results )
