1970s Schecter P-04 P-Bass Pickup Set 3/4 Good!

Howdy. This listing is for a 70s Schecter P-Bass Pickup Set with one good coil and one coil that is only 1/2 good.

The coil with the red. white and black leads functions correctly. It has the full DC resistance of 8.81k and the tap of 4.46k .

The other coil would need to be rewound. This coil could still be used but it would be essentially the tapped setting only. Well really the tap to the outer lead which is the same as the ground to the tap in a tapped pickup that works correctly. These Fender style pickups tend to get a break on the inner coil where the wire goes over the magnet. Rewinding is the only cure.

The tap on these Schecter P pickups is at about the 1/2 way point of the coil.

This pickup is sold as is no returns. You can see the readings of the working coil in the pics. This might be the way to go if you have a dead coil and don't want to get it rewound. Or you could get the second coil rewound yourself.
