This auction is for a hand-hammered bronze planetary Wind (or Feng) gong, Venus planet, size 50cm / 20”, by the Asian Sound Planetsound company, with very minimum wear.

This particular “planet “gong has a frequency of 110.62Hz. This frequency derives from an octave-scaled calculation (the "Cosmic Octave" tuning system) of the Venus frequency.

In sound healing and meditation circles, this frequency works around Venus’s astrological themes to fosters love, harmony, and creativity, to help clear away grudges, bitterness, and relationship wounds.  It is also used to relieve stress and emotional blockage.

Musically, it is a serene sensual deep tone, in a slightly sharp A of the second octave.

This gong is from my own collection and is in EXCELLENT condition, respectfully used in a good number of sound baths and sound healing sessions. I have significantly scaled down my sound healing practice, so this instrument is better off in the hands of somebody who will use it.
