Offered here is a Crown Micro-Tech 1200 professional stereo power amplifier from our former Piens MusicPlanet warehouse inventory in Belgium.
The Micro-Tech series became one of Crown’s best-known professional amplifier families and was extensively used in touring PA, fixed installations and professional audio systems.
Power output is approximately:
• 310 watts/channel at 8 Ω
• 480 watts/channel at 4 Ω
• 675 watts/channel at 2 Ω
• 970 watts bridged at 8 Ω
• 1,300 watts bridged at 4 Ω
The Micro-Tech 1200 incorporates Crown’s ODEP protection technology and the company’s renowned Grounded Bridge amplifier topology.
This is a substantial, traditional professional power amplifier from the period when reliability, large power supplies and continuous high-current capability took precedence over minimum weight.
The amplifier still carries its original Piens Musical Instruments dealer identification, making this an interesting piece of Belgian professional-audio history as well.
