Another remarkable Warehouse Find — the imposing Roland KC-1000, one of the most ambitious keyboard amplification systems Roland ever produced.

This is definitely not your average keyboard amplifier. The KC-1000 was conceived as a flagship professional system for keyboards, synthesizers and especially electronic/tonewheel organs, combining enormous headroom with a sophisticated multi-speaker design.

At the heart of the KC-1000 is a powerful 310-watt amplification system driving no fewer than SEVEN speakers:

This particular European 230 V example — Serial No. ZQ50167 — has survived in remarkably attractive condition.

The KC-1000 has long been discontinued and is considerably harder to find today than the familiar KC-300/350/500/550 series. Finding a clean example has become increasingly difficult.
