That Jumbo body is central to the K65e's story, giving twelve strings the acoustic space they need to bloom into a broad, enveloping voice. Figured Hawaiian koa is used for the top, back, and sides, combining striking visual depth with a sound Taylor describes as rich through the midrange, shimmering through its octave textures, dynamically responsive, and impressively full. Taylor's Legacy X-bracing reflects Bob Taylor's nuanced approach to the company's earlier X-braced instruments, helping this guitar connect the character of a classic Taylor 12-string with the refined response players associate with the brand.
