The Taylor GT 811e is a high-end model from the 800 Series that accompanied the launch of the Grand Theater (GT) body shape, developed by Taylor to sit between the GS Mini and the Grand Concert. Despite its compact dimensions and short 24⅛-inch scale length, it delivers impressive volume, projection, and harmonic richness thanks to the C-Class bracing design, derived from the acclaimed V-Class architecture. It features a solid Sitka spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and Taylor’s ES2 pickup system. Extremely comfortable to play, with reduced string tension and outstanding responsiveness, it appeals equally to fingerstyle players and performing musicians looking for a compact acoustic guitar without sacrificing tone.
