About this listing
Seymour Duncan Humbucker SSL-3T Hot Tapped Flat For Strat Pickup
The SSL-3T Hot Tapped delivers aggressive single-coil character with the output punch of a modern humbucker, housed in a compact design engineered specifically for standard Strat routing. This tapped pickup bridges the gap between vintage Strat aesthetics and contemporary high-output demands, making it an exceptional choice for players seeking versatility without routing modifications.
Tone & Output Flexibility
Dual output levels give you switchable access to full "Hot" output for lead work and vintage-level output for cleaner tones—essentially two pickup personalities in one unit. The 16.4k ohms DC resistance and raised flat Alnico 5 pole pieces create a stronger, deeper magnetic field that sustains notes with clarity while maintaining single-coil snap and definition.
Design & Installation
The modern oval bottom flatwork drops directly into standard single-coil guitar routing with no modification required, preserving your instrument's original cavity and resale value. Hand-wound and wax-potted construction ensures reliable performance and minimal noise, while the included white cover offers aesthetic flexibility to match your guitar's aesthetic.
