Oberheim OB-Xa in excellent cosmetic condition and near-mint sonic condition.Recently was holistically serviced by Manfred Veber @ Vintage Synth Repair in Paris, France.This is a particularly unique instance of the OB-Xa - manufactured between December 29, 1980 and January 4th, 1981. Based on the serial #, this is likely the 3rd unit manufactured in production. This early model is a bit of a hybrid where the architecture is a bit like the original OB-X, providing a unique blend and simply a unique instrument (when I acquired this unit originally, I was told it was thought to be a prototype of the OB-Xa).This unit has been stored in a studio and well-maintained (i.e., plays like new, especially after the maintenance/servicing). Pricing accounts for the unit rarity and service/maintenance has been taken into account in the listing price.
