Marshall JCM800 2203 MS-01 Modified HeadBrand New from Official Marshall DealerThe Marshall JCM800 2203 is one of the most iconic amplifier designs ever produced, delivering the unmistakable sound that defined hard rock and heavy metal throughout the 1980s. This brand new UK-built example has been upgraded with Marshall’s sought-after MS-01 modification, providing increased versatility and gain while retaining the aggressive character and dynamic response that made the original 2203 legendary.Built in Marshall’s Bletchley factory, the 2203 combines the raw authority of a 100-watt EL34 power section with a straightforward single-channel layout. The addition of the MS-01 modification expands the amp’s tonal range, offering enhanced preamp gain and improved flexibility for modern players without sacrificing the punch, clarity and feel that have made the JCM800 a benchmark for over four decades.Specifications

ToneAt its core, the 2203 MS-01 remains everything players love about a JCM800. Tight, percussive low end, aggressive upper-mid punch and exceptional note definition combine to create one of the most articulate high-powered valve amplifiers ever built. The MS-01 modification adds additional gain on tap, allowing the amp to move effortlessly from classic rock crunch into saturated hard rock and metal territory without relying heavily on external overdrive pedals. Chords remain focused and powerful, while lead tones sustain beautifully with the harmonic richness and cut that have made the JCM800 the weapon of choice for generations of professional players.Whether paired with a traditional 1960 cabinet or one of Marshall’s Handwired speaker cabinets, the result is a huge, authoritative sound that excels both on stage and in the studio.ConditionThis amplifier is brand new, unused and supplied in immaculate condition complete with original packaging, documentation and full Marshall manufacturer warranty. Why Buy From Overdrive Guitars? As an Authorised Marshall Retailer, every new Marshall amplifier we supply comes with full manufacturer backing and support.
