The Filter'Tron "Electronic Guitar Head" was introduced in 1957 at the summer NAMM show in Chicago. Filter'Tron pickups feature dual-coils and are designed to filter out the electronic hum normally associated with single-coil pickups, while adding a warmer tone, and a significant increase in output and sustain. Dual Coil Filter'Tron™ pickups used in many Gretsch® solid and hollow body guitars. Includes the genuine screws needed for installation. 14.5" lead consisting of two wires. They measure 1-5/16" X 2-13/16" with a base that is 3-1/8".
