Lovies Guitars is excited to present this 2012 Fender FSR '72 Telecaster Deluxe Thinline Reissue Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar finished in Black. This Factory Special Run Fender combines the bold attitude and powerful dual-humbucker voice of a '72 Telecaster Deluxe with the open resonance and character of a Thinline semi-hollow body. Even cooler, this guitar was previously owned by Brad Fernquist of the Goo Goo Dolls, adding genuine artist provenance and road-tested rock and roll character to this unique Fender.
The semi-hollow Thinline construction gives this Telecaster a lively, resonant response with added air and dimension compared to a traditional solid-body Tele. Dual Fender Wide Range-style humbuckers deliver thick rhythm tones, warm cleans, and aggressive overdriven sounds while retaining plenty of clarity and definition. The classic Fender scale length and familiar Maple neck provide a fast, comfortable feel that works beautifully for alternative rock, indie, blues, and hard-driving stage work.
Finished in Black, this guitar wears plenty of honest play wear from real-world use. The finish shows heavy scratching and typical gig wear throughout, giving the guitar a genuine road-worn appearance that perfectly fits its history. Unlike a factory relic, the cosmetic character on this Tele was earned naturally through playing and use.
This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC). Previously owned by Brad Fernquist of the Goo Goo Dolls.
Condition: 9/10 - Very Good. Shows a decent amount of honest play wear with pretty heavy surface scratches throughout the finish, light buckle rash on the back, and typical gig wear consistent with a well-played instrument. Structurally solid and full of natural road-worn character.
