Here for sale we have a Fender FSR American Vintage '72 Tele Thinline Electric Guitar in 3-Colour Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2014, this guitar features a bolt-on semi hollow construction comprising an Ash body, a Maple neck and a 21 Narrow fret Maple fingerboard. The hardware features consist of a Chrome 6-Saddle String-Through-Body hardtail bridge and a set of Fender Vintage-Style F-Stamp tuning machines. A pair of Fender Wide Range humbucker pickups are installed and are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume and master tone control. The Gloss finished Maple neck plays very well, with the 'C' shape profile which fills the hand nicely whilst remaining slim enough for fast articulate lines and solos. The Gloss Maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with the 9.5" radius provides a nicely balanced and consistent playing surface right the way up the register. The Vintage-Style frets assist with string bending and vibrato techniques, whilst also still paying an accurate homage to the guitars from 1972. Acoustically this guitar has excellent resonance, with a nicely loud and airy tone. The Fender Wide Range humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Fender Wide Range humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips.
