The ESP LTD EC-200DX is built for players who want modern performance, aggressive tone, and eye-catching style without stretching their budget. Part of LTD’s popular DX range, this model delivers premium features typically reserved for higher-priced instruments, making it an excellent choice for both developing players and seasoned guitarists looking for a reliable workhorse. With its sleek single-cut EC body shape and Charcoal Burst finish over a poplar burl top, the EC-200DX looks every bit as serious as it sounds.
At its core, this guitar is designed for versatility. The lightweight poplar body keeps things comfortable during long sessions, while the roasted maple neck with a Thin U profile provides a fast, stable feel that excels at everything from tight rhythm work to fluid lead playing. The rosewood fingerboard, outfitted with 24 extra-jumbo frets, offers plenty of room for extended-range riffs and expressive bends across the full 25.5" scale length.
Sonically, the EC-200DX is powered by a pair of ESP LH-150 humbuckers that deliver punch, clarity, and drive across a wide range of styles. From modern rock and metal to blues and alternative, the push-pull coil split on the tone control adds convincing single-coil textures when you need extra sparkle and bite. Available now at Haggerty’s Music, this EC-200DX is a rock-solid instrument built to perform night after night.
