Overview
The Drawmer 1968 ME is a Mercenary Edition stereo compressor designed specifically for the main stereo mix buss. Designed and tested in conjunction with the staff at Mercenary Audio, the 1968 took the compression circuit from the 1969 model preamp / compressor and omitted the mic preamps while putting the "Big" switch on each channel rather than on a third position of the stereo link switch.
The "Big" switch is a HPF at the detector circuit, allowing low frequencies to go through uncompressed.
