This COOOL Bad Cat Black Cat 15 is a highly regarded boutique 15-watt tube guitar amplifier designed to offer the "3D" lush cleans and complex harmonic overdrive of Bad Cat's flagship Black Cat 30, but at a more manageable volume level. Historically hand-wired in Southern California, the legacy 15-watt versions remain highly sought-after on the used market by tone purists.Key Features & SpecificationsPower Output: 15 Watts Class A running on a cathode-biased power section.Tube Complement: Powered by a pair of dual EL84 power tubes, with a mix of 12AX7 and high-fidelity EF86 preamp tubes. It also uses a GZ34 rectifier tube.Dual-Channel Flexibility:Channel 1 (12AX7): Provides a warm, sweet tone with a glassy British-inspired chime.Channel 2 (EF86): Delivers a punchier, more aggressive hi-fi grunt that breaks up beautifully into complex, multi-dimensional overdrive.Tone Shaping: Equipped with a classic treble/bass stack and a global "Cut" control to smooth out or sharpen top-end air.
