About This Model
The Alesis MIDIVerb 4 is a 1U rack-mountable multi-effects processor built around a dual-channel 18-bit signal path with 20-bit internal processing. It offers 32 distinct effect algorithms - including dense natural reverbs, chorus, flange, delay, and pitch shifting - with up to three simultaneous multi-effects running at once. The unit houses 128 factory presets alongside 128 user-editable programs, and its delay engine reaches up to 1,300 ms with a pitch shift range of ±1 octave. Connectivity is handled via two unbalanced 1/4" inputs and two unbalanced 1/4" outputs, allowing operation as either two independent mono processors or a single stereo parallel processor. MIDI Real-Time Control supports two simultaneous MIDI controls and two discrete programming channels, making it a flexible addition to both studio and live rack setups.
