Since its debut in 1996, the j.custom has remained Ibanez’s flagship model.

“Precisely because the j.custom is a custom guitar, isn’t it possible to create an instrument that meets the diverse styles, tastes, and demands of today’s guitarists

at the highest level?”

This “one-of-a-kind” j.custom is the result of a fusion between that passion and creativity, and the craftsmanship of master builders who have known the j.custom inside and out since its inception.

While different from the standard RG models, this is a guitar built to “hold its own” on stage. Inspired by “samurai armor”—known worldwide for its uniquely Japanese craftsmanship and design, and symbolizing a facet of Japanese culture itself when combined with its artistic value—this is a special model featuring intricate design details.

The body features a width approximately 2% narrower than the standard size.

The top is crafted from exotic maple, featuring a beautiful, eye-catching grain pattern.

The back is made of African mahogany, which delivers the sweet tone and rich mid-to-low frequency response essential for a rock guitar.

The neck is a 3-piece construction of maple and bubinga.

The neck shape is exclusive to the JCRG1701, featuring the Ibanez Wizard thin neck with added rounding.

It delivers outstanding playability for all fingering styles.

Additionally, it features a medium scale length, which is not found in the standard lineup.

*Since this is a used item, there are some minor scratches and play marks, but

there are no noticeable defects and it is in good condition.

The neck is in good condition, and the frets show almost no wear.

There is a crack visible at the center joint of the body top.

※Please note the color on your display might be slightly different from the actual color.
