Product Details

The Proco Rat MOD is a pedal based on Proco's iconic RAT distortion pedal.

The RAT is a classic pedal that has been used by many guitarists for many years, and its appeal lies in its simple configuration yet wide range of capabilities, from overdrive to fuzz-like distortion.

This pedal is based on the traditional RAT control configuration, centered on Distortion, Filter, and Volume.

The Filter control works differently from typical tone controls; turning it to the right reduces the high frequencies, resulting in a rounder texture, while turning it to the left results in a brighter, more edgy character.

The robust enclosure and easy-to-use, angled shape are also practical features characteristic of the RAT series.

The sound ranges from a granular crunch to a rough distortion, and even a compressed texture close to fuzz.

At lower gain settings, it has a thick, amp-pushing sound, while increasing the gain adds a unique grittiness and stickiness.

Based on a classic distortion sound, this model is versatile enough for a wide range of genres including rock, alternative, garage, and punk. It's recommended for those seeking a distinctive drive sound with simple operation.

Please consider this opportunity.
