Selmer Treble’N’Bass 50 Mk II 1965

These amps were originally built between 1963 and 1965, for use both as a guitar and as a bass amp. It's the early version of the Treble and Bass 50, which was more or less the standard Selmer guitar amp head for many years from the early sixties till the late seventies.

The Selmer Treble'N'Bass 50 is a vintage guitar amplifier known for its unique and classic sound. It was originally produced in the 1960s by the British company Selmer, which was a significant player in the early days of the British rock and roll and blues scenes. The Selmer Treble 'N' Bass 50 is often associated with legendary guitarists like Eric Clapton and John Lennon.The amp's 3 x ECC83 preamp, GZ34 Rectifier and 2 x EL34 power tubes churn out a nice and lively 50W of power.The amp sounds really cool and has that typical Selmer sound that hits anywhere between a JMI VOX and a 60's Marshall.

The Tubes are new and tested by an amp technician and are ready to impress the next player for years to come. A couple of weeks ago the amp has been fully tested and checked by an amp technician.

The amplifier was moved into a new, more robust cabinet to improve its protection and durability, and to give it a fresher and more attractive look. Plexi up front. The original cabinet is intact and still available to receive.
