This Epiphone Les Paul Special is not a mass model – it was only built in 2010 and 2011 and is a sought-after rarity today. People who know, know what they’re looking at here.
And important: don’t confuse it with the later TV Yellow Special from the 2020s with a wrap-around bridge – this one here is the clearly better version with a Tune-o-Matic bridge and stop bar and a 60s neck.
Especially charming is the flat 60s-style neck – perfectly shaped, super comfortable in the hand. All of that at a nicely light weight and with a tone that is simply fantastic with the original Epiphone P90s – fat, open, and with exactly the right amount of bite.
