----------
Built in the Tama Factory which was a custom guitar shop associated with Ibanez Guitars. Although Tama did make its name originally with drums during the 1970's and later, it was a standalone guitar shop which made Tama Guitars as well as other high end custom guitars which are very similar in appearance (note the guitars with prices by Kohno and Orozco currently being sold now on Reverb). The shop existed from about 1974 to 1980 when it was absorbed by Ibanez Guitars for it own high end guitars. The Tama Classical guitars were of the highest quality from 1977 to 80 - all solid wood with 2 ebony stiffeners in the back of the neck. You can see the description from:
The TC-10 model is Indian rosewood sides and back with cedar top, ebony fret board, cedar top, gold plated tuners and sold for approximately $1220 in 1978 as stated on the website. The wood of the sides, face, and bottom is all solid - not laminated
The case is not original but is a new black plastic form fitting classical Gator brand case.
Two cracks are on the face of the guitar, they are above the sound hole to the edge and run parallel to the neck. They are stable, sealed and are resting on a brace next to the neck.
