Ground FX - Koloss

„Koloss“ is a brutal High-Gain Muff!

It is not a replica of an existing Muff: apart from an additional mid-pot that interacts with the tone-pot you‘ll also have a „saturation“ control, a very nice feature to control the „fatness“ of the pedal.

All Muffs out there have got two gain stages. Some pedals allow a different clipping in the second stage. I don‘t like these clipping options via toggle, so I decided to add a third gain stage that can be activated via footswitch. The first two stages are based on SI-diodes and allow very doomy and gnarly distortion/fuzz sounds. The third stage brings some GE-diodes in the circuit. Expect pure thickness and a lot of deep lowend!

Koloss is the perfect pedal for bassists. That's why I integrated an active blend circuit to mix the dry and wet signal.
