The first chord through this Black Cat sounds so good you’ll play it again just to make sure it was you. This cat weighs 48 pounds and comes with a cover, which is the closest it’ll ever get to a weighted blanket. It has two channels: one for showing off your chord voicings and one for making the drummer ask if you could turn down. Save that moment. It may never happen again.

Mark Sampson’s Mod Shop Black Cat 30 pairs four EL84s with a custom UK-made Celestion. Each channel gets its own Volume and Master, so you can set your clean and overdrive levels independently. There’s onboard reverb, footswitchable tremolo, and a buffered effects loop for the pedals you swore you were done buying.

Condition & What’s Included

Born in 2025 and only briefly owned before being traded in from a great repeat customer of ours… This Bad Cat combo presents cleanly, as shown in the photos. It comes with the Bad Cat amp cover, the two-button footswitch for channel selection and tremolo, and the matching Mod Shop factory hangtag.

If you want EL84 chime, a second channel with some grit, and enough tremolo to make one chord count as an arrangement, this Cat earns its floor space. Local DFW pickup is welcome. You can take the amp home and I can keep my chiropractor appointment purely social.

Whoever brings this baby home is going to be STOKED!!
