For AG-600B Series, 1/4" - Date Code 1073 (October 1973 - Last Production Batch)

This is a complete, original factory head block, New Old Stock, never installed for recording. Pulled from sealed Ampex service stock. This is the harder to find HALF TRACK version, more desirable than Full Track for tape echo and high-quality mono work.

- Original epoxy-sealed cores - as you know, Ampex sealed these heads at factory, not to be opened

Condition: Excellent / NOS. There is light storage patina on the outer shield as expected after 50+ years in storage in Brazil, but gaps are perfect, no wear, no chipping. Shield and mounting plate included. Wiring harness original.
