About this listing
Released in 1979, the CS20M is a 2VCO-1VCF-1VCA analog synthesizer. It is a more affordable version of the CS40M, featuring 37 keys, monophonic capability, and memory for 8 sounds. «Excerpt from a catalog from that era« The CS20M features 37 keys and is monophonic. The programmer offers 32 parameters and 8 memory slots, providing ample capacity per stage. The selector uses quick-response logical control switches that allow for rapid sound changes during live performances. It also features a built-in power supply dedicated to memory backup, ensuring data is reliably retained even when the power switch is turned off. Of course, since it uses digital memory, there is absolutely no loss of sound quality when backing up data to an external medium via the cassette interface. In addition, frequently used effects have been carefully selected.Wefve included a wide variety of effects, starting with LFO modulation for creating vibrato, wah-wah, and tremolo, as well as glide, portamento, glissando, sustain, and brilliance. Furthermore, with playability in mind, wefve grouped these effect controllers together on the left side of the keyboard. This is truly an instrument designed for live performance.
