A used 314ce from the ES1 era has arrived! Made in the USA at the El Cajon factory The body features the most popular GA (Grand Auditorium) shape with a cutaway. It features an all-solid body with a Sitka spruce top and sapele sides and back. The top features scalloped X-bracing and an ebony bridge. The tropical mahogany neck has a nut width of just over 44mm and a 25.5" long scale, with an ebony fingerboard. Only the body top has a gloss finish; the rest of the guitar has a satin finish. It is equipped with an Expression System 1 (ES1) pickup. The ES1 is a pickup system that combines a Dynamic Body Sensor mounted on the underside of the top with a Dynamic String Sensor mounted under the end of the fingerboard. Volume, Treble, and Bass controls are located on the body side. Serviced at a renowned guitar workshop! The bridge has been reattached, the frets have been leveled, and the nut and saddle have been adjusted. The truss rod has been checked and moves smoothly from 60 degrees to either side, and there is still plenty of life left in the frets. The top of the body has various dents of varying sizes scattered across it. Additionally, there is some discoloration from aging, which gives it a nice vintage look! There are also scattered playing marks, scuffs, and scratches. The back of the neck has developed a lustrous sheen from extensive playing. There are two areas of slight paint chipping on the edge of the fingerboard on the 6th string side (between the 1st and 2nd frets, and between the 14th and 15th frets). There are small dents and other minor scratches on the back of the neck, and dents are scattered across the headstock as well. While it shows some signs of use, the playability is excellent! It delivers that signature Taylor clarity and is a versatile instrument you can use for just about anything!
