Not only is he an accomplished session player, taking to the stage with industry legends Don Henley, Chris Cornell and Melissa Etheridge but he is a featured Suhr artist and YouTube gear demo expert!Having been a Suhr artist for 10 years and already lending his name to the hugely successful PT100 amp and Thornbucker pickups, Thorn and Suhr have teamed up for the super cool Pete Thorn Signature guitar.With a Mahogany body finished in a lush Gold, this guitar feels robust but perfectly balanced, the Maple top completing this tone wood dream team. The Mahogany neck has a satin finish and with its Indian Rosewood fretboard and 10"-14" radius, it's real comfortable and smooth underhand. The even C profile allows for a perfect feel right up the neck and the laser engraved Pete Thorn signature inlay is a nice touch. Incredible tuning stability comes courtesy of a Wilkinson WVS 130 tremolo bridge and Suhr locking tuners, precise and responsive, they are a great feature.Loaded with his own Thornbucker pickups, including a Thornbucker + at the bridge, this guitar delivers a really broad spectrum of tones. A guitar player like Thorn needs a dynamic and versatile guitar that can cover a wide range of bases and this guitar certainly does that.
