For sale: a 2011 Martin Custom Shop OM-42 from a limited run of just eight guitars. This is not a standard OM-42 with a couple of options changed — it was spec'd around an exceptional set of Madagascar rosewood and a top-grade Italian bearclaw spruce top, with the woods hand-selected by Ed Golden, then Martin's Custom Shop manager.The fingerboard carries the "Vine of Harmonics" inlay in blue paua. I have a digital copy of the spec sheet (shown in the listing photos); I do not have the physical original.Condition: Excellent overall, with honest light playwear. There are some very light scratches (photographed as closely as I can), some light finish crazing around the bridge and pickguard, and some minor finish bubbling along the binding in a couple of small spots — all shown in the photos. The bubbling is in the finish at the binding edge and is cosmetic.
