About this listing
This is a rare bird. The story is that a studio owner from Tyler, TX purchased this guitar as it is pictured directly from the Ibanez Hollywood USA custom shop in 1996. This was the last year of the custom shop. This guitar features the Serpent pattern body, an MIJ RG neck (SERIAL NO F613661) and an Ibanez Hollywood neck plate. The neck plate would only be on a USA Custom Shop guitar. What likely happened is that when the original owner ordered the guitar, the Custom Shop only had the RG necks available because they were shutting down that year. I have another USA Custom guitar and, although the front of the headstock is USA, the neck was still made in Japan. I know that some people may think that this neck came from another guitar, but it is original to the guitar as far as I know. This is an opportunity to get a real Ibanez USA Custom Serpent for a fraction of other listings. That being said all the electronics work and the pickups are original. This is a great playing guitar. It is a used guitar. It does have finish imperfections that are pictured. It comes with the original trem bar and a gig bag. A hard case can be sourced for an additional cost.Follow Renegade Supplies for more great deals. Worldwide shipping is available. All sales are final.
