About this listing
The double-cutaway Talman is Ibanez's rebel with a cause. Electric players looking to add an acoustic-guitar dimension to their arsenal go head-over-heels for this distinctive hybrid. You've noticed by now that Ibanez holds a studious respect for tradition. That said, every now and then you have to hang a right where everyone else is turning left.Okoume Neck: The Okoume neck provides greater playing comfort.Purpleheart Fretboard: The Purpleheart fretboard emphasizes the beauty and the rich tonal character of this guitar.Spruce Top: Spruce remains the most popular wood for acoustic guitar tops, mainly due to its pristine tonal clarity.Sapele Back And Sides: Sapele back and sides offer a full-bodied and warm mid-range and a bright tone.Ibanez Undersaddle Pickup: The Ibanez Undersaddle Pickup accurately reproduces the acoustic nature of the guitar.Ibanez AEQ-2T Preamp W/Onboard Tuner: The AEQ-2T preamp is specifically-designed to adjust the bass and treble frequencies, and allows operation of the built-in tuner without the instrument being plugged in.Purpleheart Bridge: The Purpleheart bridge transfers string vibration directly to the body, delivering a natural and warm tone.Ibanez Advantage Bridge Pins: These pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage, the pin and string stay put.Specs: Model: TCY621BOTCountry of Origin: CHINASeries: TalmanNumber of Strings: 6Neck Type: TCYNeck Joint: Screw jointingNeck Joint Position: 16th fret jointNeck Material: OkoumeNeck Finish: Open Pore PolyurethaneNeck Thickness (1st fret, mm): 21.5Neck Thickness (7th fret, mm): 23.5End Width (mm): 54 at 14FScale: 25.6"Nut width (inch): 1.65"Number Of Fret: 20Fretboard: PurpleheartFretboard Radius: 10"Inlay: White DotBody Shape: Talman Double CutawayBody Top Material: SpruceBody Sides Material: SapeleBody Back Material: SapeleBody Depth: 3.625"Body Width: 14.375"Body Length: 18.125"Soundhole Rosette: Black MultiBody Finish: Open Pore PolyurethaneBridge: PurpleheartBridge Pins: Ibanez Advantage-Saddle Material: PlasticString Spacing: 11mmNut: PlasticMachine Heads: Black Die-Cast TunersOther Pickup: Ibanez UndersaddlePreamp: Ibanez AEQ-2T Preamp W/Onboard TunerControls: Pickup Selector, 1 Volume, Bass, TrebleOther Switches: Tuner On/Off SwitchOutput Jack: 1/4" OutputString Gauges (From Top To Bottom): .012/.016/.024/.032/.042/.053Other Items Included: Hex Wrench, Saddle, Bridge PinBatteries Required: 9V X1
