1979 Ibanez St 100I bought this back in 1991, and have kept it in an air conditioned home since then.It is all original, and has the awesome original Ibanez "Vault" case. This St100 shows 8lb 14oz on my scale (which may not be exact). This instrument has some dings on the edges, and elsewhere around the guitar as well as a various scratches on the body and neck.This was all there when I bought it.The two pickup rings each have a crack in one corner by one of the screw holes.It also had the back missing off one of the original tuners when I bought it, so I fitted a piece of plastic on to it to protect the tuner gears.And one knob has a couple cracks inside of it, but it's still solid. I'm including an extra matching knob which is in excellent shape.This guitar sounds incredible with the original V2 pickups and highly resonant body/neck. This particular guitar has great tone....better than others I've owned and sold.These are some of the most underrated vintage electrics out there, and I'm sure will eventually command collector prices.For now they are an incredible bargain for what you get sound and playability wise. I personally think they look amazing too.I have an St 300 I'm keeping because of its slightly chunkier neck, but I think this one is still the best sounding of the two! The neck on this is not thin, just a bit slimmer than the 300. I'd call this neck a medium C if I had to describe it.
