Step back into the golden era of American-made archtops. This is a legendary Harmony H1310 Brilliant, a flagship model produced in Chicago between the mid-1950s and mid-1960s. Known for its "Brilliant" moniker and striking Venetian cutaway, this guitar is as much a piece of mid-century art as it is a professional-grade instrument. It's an acoustic Harmony H1310 Brilliant Cutaway archtop sunburst from the 1960's. Often referred to as the "poor man's Gibson L-4C it has segmented f holes, carved with solid spruce top with maple on back and sides. The headstock is laminated red tortoise shell acetate with fleur de leis overlay. Custom matching tortoise shell pickguard, nickel plated harp tailpiece, and stock Kulsen deluxe tuners. Great shape, minor blemishes and a joy to play. Pro tip: While these are phenomenal acoustic cannons, many players choose to add a "floating" DeArmond-style pickup to these models to transform them into the ultimate vintage electric jazz guitar.
